Awards Committee
The Awards Committee is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the outstanding achievements, leadership, service, and dedication of our Sorors. This committee is responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing the awards and recognition programs that honor individual members and the chapter.

Budget & Finance Committee
Every Alpha Kapa Sorority, Incorporated® member is a financial steward of the Sorority and her chapter. Each chapter elects financial officers with a fiduciary responsibility to act in the chapter’s best interest. This committee provides the policies and procedures for the financial operations, handles all revenues and expenditures, supports the strategic plan, and maintains financial records.
Building Our Economic Wealth
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is launching our most progressive and revolutionary economic initiatives this century. This administration has created institutional-level solutions to combat institutional-level challenges. We will further encourage and equip our members to place key strategies into action to build personal, organizational, and community economic wealth.
Bylaws Committee
This committee is responsible for reviewing chapter bylaws annually; proposing changes to the chapter; revising bylaws, and distributing amended bylaws to chapter members after adoption in a timely manner. The committee will raise awareness on constitution and bylaws knowledge and parliamentary procedures with the members.

Connection & Social Action Committee
The Connection & Social Action Committee is dedicated to addressing important social issues by mobilizing members to engage in advocacy, voter registration, public policy discussions, and community activism, primarily focused on issues impacting African American communities and other marginalized groups; essentially acting as a conduit to connect the sorority with broader social causes and movements.
EAF Team
The Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) purpose is to promote lifelong learning through charitable contributions, gifts and endowed funds to award scholarships, fellowships and grants. This committee promotes charitable contributions to build our Chapter Endowment, Cluster V Endowment and General EAF efforts.
Empower Our Families
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has a strong history of supporting and servicing families, for we understand a healthy family is the foundation of a healthy community. We will take a multi-generational approach to fortify families within our communities by addressing child hunger and promoting positive youth development and leadership, mental well-being, and senior life.
Enhance our Environment
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has the power to galvanize our organization of more than 120,000 active members, create a ripple effect, and make a significant impact on our environment. We will employ select strategies to optimize our collective ability and to improve and protect the environment at scale. We will prioritize activities that promote the adoption of more sustainable and responsible practices

Golden Citizens
The purpose of the Golden Citizens committee is to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the senior community through conversation, engaging activities, and informative learning sessions.
Graduate Advisory Committee [PRIVATE]
Kids Club
Provide elementary school students with academic support to improve learning outcomes as well as activities to promote social and emotional well-being. Each session includes a hands-on learning activity that encourages student learning and participation.
Leadership Development Committee
The committee strives to maintain a Sisterly Culture which involves learning, accountability, and inclusivity within the chapter. We work to establish a Leadership Brand that reinforces officer expectations, critical leadership attributes, and ensures success within the Sorority and professionally. Ultimately, we strive to Develop and Grow leaders by cultivating the next generation of leaders within the Sorority and in the community.
Membership
Membership is Strengthening Our Sisterhood with the enhancement of our Membership Experience that focuses on mentoring and reactivation. We, you and I, are One AKA and we are soaring to ensure that our reactivated sorors are welcomed home. An important aspect of membership is Reactivation. The Membership Committee will focus on reactivation by “Strengthening Outreach to Accelerate Reactivation.” This includes monthly activities or events and consistent communication with our new sorors. There are several sub-committees for sorors to join.

The objective of this committee is to further bolster and support other organizations and our presence by sharing in the divine nine service activities across the metro area. Thank you in advance as we look forward to supporting worthy community service events as well as inviting others to participate and support ours. As a chapter, we are making a concerted effort to foster brotherly and sisterly love through solidarity and community service.

Prayer Warrior Team [PRIVATE]
The purpose of PZ? Prayer Warriors is to provide intercessory pray fervently and strategically by covering, uplifting and believing God for miracles, signs and wonders on behalf of Rho Zeta Omega Chapter members special needs and concerns. Sorors are welcome to visit The Prayer Warrior’s table to complete a prayer request form. All requests are kept confidential.

This is a group for the Rho Zeta Omega Program Subcommittee Chairman for the Soaring Administration Program Initiatives and Chapter Legacy Programs - Scholarship, Kids Club, and Golden Citizens.
Property Acquisition Committee [PRIVATE]
Protocol
This committee serves in an advisory capacity whenever the chapter plans rituals, receptions, fundraisers, Founder’s Day celebrations, Boule and other special events. The committee knows and practices the guidelines provided in the Official Guide to Alpha Kappa Alpha Protocol to ensure protocol is applied consistently at sorority events.

Rituals [PRIVATE]
This committee will represent the spiritual foundation of our Sorority and a system of values. Each ritual consists of one or more ceremonies. The "ceremony" is the procedure we use to conduct our rituals. The values of which we write are clear, absolute, and difficult to emulate. They are courage, courtesy, fidelity, honor, integrity, and love. Each demands ambition, humility, and self-control. As time progressed, our Founders advanced the idea of friendship you encompass the concept of commitment.
Scholarship (PEARL Foundation Committee)
Provide annual academic scholarships to advance the education of African American females who are graduating seniors of Cobb County and Marietta City high schools and track the impact of the investment in recipients.
Sisterly Relations Committee
The Sisterly Relations Committee's main focus is to help "Strengthen Our Sisterhood". Our committee's goal is to help increase sisterly bonds and membership participation within our growing PZO chapter and AKA sisterhood. Together we can do this in our sisterly acts, activities, communications and collaborations.

Technology Committee
The purpose of the Technology Committee is to address technology issues throughout the chapter. Maintain website and email accounts, provide strategic direction to the Executive Committee on the effective utilization of technology to increase communication and connection in the chapter and throughout the sisterhood.
Uplift Our Local Community
Uplift our Local Community serves to increase awareness of services and form partnerships with organizations contributing resources and support to the Cobb County community. Our goal is to establish collaborative partnerships with 2-3 organizations, providing Rho Zeta Omega members with meaningful volunteer opportunities that allow them to make a significant impact in the community. Through these partnerships, we aim to connect both the community and Rho Zeta Omega members with the various resources available, fostering mutual support and positive change.
